Let's delve into the technique for taping for a backless dress or a plunge dress. In this method, we aim to provide support and structure to the bust while ensuring the tape remains discreet. To prepare for this we will cut the tape into ten strips around 30cm long.
- Firstly, apply a lengthy strip aligned with your nipple, starting about an inch below where your underwire would typically rest. Lift the bust as you adhere the tape from the lower ribcage up to the highest point permitted by your dress. This will provide the primary support. Next, we proceed to sculpt and enhance the bust.
- To achieve this, apply a shorter strip of tape from the side of your bust upwards along your chest, repeating this process until you reach the initial tape line. Take a moment to evaluate the shape you've achieved.
- Should you desire more cleavage or wish to centre your bust, now is the opportune moment to add an additional strip from the side of your bust towards your sternum.
- Now, replicate this process on the opposite side.
Tip: For added support, consider layering additional strips on the front of the bust.
